An early and highly collectible first generation King Seiko, reference 15034KS, representing the very beginning of the King Seiko lineage.

 

Produced in the early 1960s, this model predates the Hi-Beat era and showcases Seiko’s initial pursuit of high-grade mechanical watchmaking, created to compete directly with the best Swiss manufacturers of the time.

 

This example features the manual-wind 25 jewel movement, a hallmark of the earliest King Seiko models, known for its robust construction and precise finishing.

 

Condition

The watch presents beautifully with strong vintage character.

• Original dial with a warm, even patina developed over time

• Applied indices and King Seiko shield logo in excellent condition

• Caseback features the original King Seiko shield medallion

• 14K gold filled case, showing honest and attractive signs of age

• Fitted on a brown leather strap

• Overall a very attractive and well-preserved example

 

The watch has been fully serviced in March 2026, with a repair/service card from a Japanese watchmaker in Sendai, Japan. It is running well and ready to be worn.
