For sale is a beautiful Grand Seiko 5646-7030 Hi-Beat automatic, produced in August 1973, during the golden era of Japanese watchmaking.

This watch has recently undergone a complete overhaul and full service. The movement was fully disassembled, cleaned, serviced and carefully reassembled, ensuring excellent mechanical condition. The service is documented in the photos.

In addition, the crystal has been replaced, giving the watch a clear and crisp appearance while preserving the original character of the piece.

The watch is powered by the legendary Seiko 5646 Hi-Beat movement (28,800 bph) from the renowned 56-series, one of Seiko’s most respected automatic calibres. This movement features day and date complication with quickset, and is known for its reliability and precision.

The case displays the classic Grand Seiko design language with sharp lines and elegant proportions. The dial is clean and beautifully textured, featuring the applied GS logo and Hi-Beat marking, making this a highly desirable vintage Grand Seiko reference.

While the movement features an instant date change, we still advise against adjusting the date between approx. 21:00 and 03:00 to ensure the longevity of the gears. As this is a pre-owned watch, the warranty does not cover water damage. The warranty does not cover damage caused by drops or impacts on hard surfaces.
